After nearly five years of peaceful existence, my web hosting company suddenly turned off the servers and closed its electronic doors.

No notice to any customers. Our websites were just gone.

And so was the company.

No websites. No company to contact. And no way to retrieve a backup of the websites. Just gone. Overnight.

Of course, these are First World problems. And lessons are now indelibly learned about the importance of off-site storage.

So I’m in the process of re-constructing my web presence. All five years of it. My site is a little thin at the moment, but growing.
